Booked a weekend package in a city centre hotel, normal you get what you pay for (although nothing in Rome is cheap) On arrival check-in was fast and easy, the rooms are small, but hey its a city centre hotel, the bathroom was tiny but workable, although anyone over 5ft 6" tall and a little on the wider side might not have fitted into the bathroom, let alone sit down - if you know what I mean. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of food on offer, the staff efficient and had a great grasp of the English language, their recommendations of where to eat were excellent. Next to the hotel infact attached to it is a nice bar/snap food place, good cocktails as well.I would stay again if I ever revisited Rome

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are alright but when you are in Rome, you hardly will use your room during daytime. The room was clean. Bathrooms were smaller. The breakfast was amazing. They had quite a bit healthy vegetarian options for us. I would give 5 stars for the location of this hotel. It is right behind the Roman Forum!! How awesome. It took us 5 mins to walk to Colosseum. 20 mins walk from Vatican city. I mean what else you need. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is the one star of this hotel and the free wifi is the other. The toilet in the room smelled like urine. The safe had no key. The mattress was a size bigger than the box spring. I would recommend you book in the area but not this hotel.

The Colisseum and the Roman forum, the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Spanish Steps are very near and you can enjoy all this amazing monuments with a short walk. We arrived on the first night to the noisest room ever. Absolutely impossible to sleep! Then, they moved us to a different room.. Quiet, but impossible to take a shower.. No thermostat!! Came twice to check, and did nothing. Made our stay in Rome, bitter.

We are so sorry that you did not receive a peaceful night’s sleep during your stay with us. We truly understand that a restless night can disrupt a guest’s experience. Our windows are made to cover the noise but, as you said, being in the city center is amazing for the possibility to go everywhere with a short walk but the "life" around the Hotel never stops, day and night. I would like to encourage the TripAdvisor community to contact us prior to your arrival if you are a light sleeper so we can help you customize your stay. We are happy that our staff had the opportunity to change the room. Regarding the AC and room heating we have a centralized air conditioning system that creates an ambient temperature of 20/22 degrees in each room. Therefore, it is not possible to set the temperature to anything less or over than that. This is one of the eco-friendly choices that our hotel has made to ensure we are both caring for our guests and the environment, and we hope that you will be able to enjoy your stay even with a room temperature which is slightly warmer than your preference. Just near the Piaza Venezia, within walking distance from a great number of historical sites and the shopping street via del corso. It would have been worth five stars if not for the lack of noise isolation, endless traffic noise coming from the window even at night.

We would have been happy to look for an alternative room on a higher floor for you had we known you were not comfortable.
